Open QuoteThe A/C was not turning on and after a couple of hours of trying to figure it out myself I started calling various, highly-rated Angie's List HVAC companies in the area. I had left messages with a couple of other companies but Dennis was the first to actually answer the phone. He said that someone would be out to our house within a couple of hours which seemed quite reasonable on a Saturday afternoon. Dennis himself actually showed up in about an hour after I spoke with him and had the problem figured out within 5 minutes. It was just a faulty thermostat but it's something I would not have been able to figure out on my own. Dennis did spend about 20 minutes on site explaining the problem, creating a short-term fix and explaining clearly and patiently how to go about installing a new thermostat. He even made a couple of recommendations. (I actually got a Nest Thermostat up and running a few minutes ago and, just as Dennis said it would be... it's fabulous!) Great guy, great service and a great company. By the way, I did pay an off-hours rate since it was the weekend but it matched closely to what several other companies' had quoted on their answering services.Close Quote

I called Dennis for a second opinion as my gut said 1st company, Dave's Heating and Air, pricing was either seemed really high or something was off. Dennis was able to give me a estimate based on what 1st company said the problem was and price was more reasonable of the two I called for price comparison. Based on what I said the furnace and AC were doing he said his gut feeling was it was a different issue than what Dave's Heating and Air said it was. Dennis came out, trouble shot, and made a correct diagnoses and saved me $$$$$ from having to replace a part, or furnace, that was not bad. Highly recommend!!Close Quote

He came prepared, trouble shot the system, and thought outside the box. Darn batteries in the thermostat had gone bad! Easy fix and he charged nothing. Open QuoteWe returned from our week long vacation (around midnight) only to find out our A/C had gone out during the time we were gone. The themostat read 87 degrees. After a very uncomfortable evening, I call Blizzard the next morning around 7:00 AM with the intension of leaving a message . To my surprise Dennis picked up and said he would check his schedule and call back. He called back within 10 minutes and said he would be available before noon. Showed up around 9:30 AM, very professional and thorough. Found out my replacement part was obsolete- (the a/c was approx.14 years old) and drove back to town to get the replacement and repaired the a/c before noon. I am now enjoying my very cool house. Open QuoteBoth units failed to work on a recently purchased duplex during the 102 degree day in June. They were able to get out and repair both about 1-2 weeks ahead of centerpoint. Seemed knowledgeable and friendly, and fairly punctual. 600 seemed like a lot, but the majority of the cost was in the freon, which after looking it up online, was well within current market rates. In general I like contractors that are close to my age(40), show up in well used trucks(slightly rusty), say "no problem", and get in and out quickly, with the problem being solved on the first visit. These guys fit that bill and I would use them again.Close Quote

It was returned within 10 minutes and Dennis said he would be out within a few hours. He called when he was on his way. Dennis spent about an hour tracking down our problem (it was shorted wires). He installed a temporary fix and left to get a part. He was back within an hour and completed the repair. Dennis was nice, pleasant and easy to work with in addition to really knowing his stuff. Open QuoteIt went excellent. It was one of the 60 below plus days. The first Bondfee heating and air and told me I needed a new boiler but would not get one for two or three days. This guy came out and let us know that all we need was to replace the switch. He replaced the fuse and then the switch. He called 4 times to make sure it was still runing and going good. And it was an emergancy call. In the time he spent with me he stayed hour and half until our house was back up to 70 degrees. And did not charge me an hourly wage he just charged me for the cost of putting in the switch. This was near end of the day and he called a warehouse to make sure they stayed open tell the end of the day so he could pick it up. So that was really great of him. I would recommend him to anyone.Close Quote
